| FCC Registration Number Required for E-Rate Participants |
All E-Rate Participants including Applicants, Service Providers and Consultants Must Have an FCC Regisration Number by November 1, 2004.The FCC Fifth Report and Order requires that all E-Rate participants have a FCC Registration Number.
This new requirement is easily met by a 5 minute visit to the FCC to register your school, library, or
company. You will need your Federal Employer Identification Number to register. If you are not
sure whether or not you already have a FCC Registration Number, don't worry. The registration
site will let you know if you do. Click on the following link to access the FCC Cores site for applying for the registration number: FCC Registration Your FCC Registration Number must be listed on the Item 21 Attachment pages for the 2005-06 Form 471 application. If you are a Kellogg & Sovereign Consulting client, we have already registered for you. We have NOT registered for any service providers, however. Of special note is the confusing acronym that the FCC uses for the FCC Registration Number: FRN. This is the same acronym that Schools & Libraries uses for the Funding Request Number (FRN) on an E-Rate application. Please contact us if you have any questions!! -Debi Sovereign
