Jane Kellogg

Jane Kellogg is recognized as an expert in distance learning and telecommunications technology applications for education, business, government and community telecommunications centers. She has worked with a variety of clients to develop and implement videoconferencing solutions at state and local levels. She has written books on planning and implementing distance learning programs, telecommunications technology, manuals on managing community focused telecommunications centers, and articles for numerous publications. Currently, Jane works with educational agencies, network providers and K-12 schools across Oklahoma to not only plan for technologies but to also implement their plans.

Prior to forming Kellogg Consulting, Jane had been an Account Executive for Apple Computer, Inc. for six years. During that time, she was responsible for K-12, and State and Local Government sales for the State of Oklahoma. In that role, she worked with school systems and governmental agencies across the state to implement computer technologies. Key accounts included the Oklahoma State Senate and the Oklahoma State Department of Education, as well as the 600+ school districts in the state. Her background as a director of special projects for a school system, university instructor, and classroom teacher helped her relate well to the needs of all levels of education.

She has earned numerous honors and awards for her activities and is a frequent presenter at conferences. She holds a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Oklahoma State University and has done additional study in technology and telecommunications at various universities.

Don Kellogg

Prior to joining Kellogg Consulting, LLC, Don Kellogg was the Director for the Center of Excellence for Science and Mathematics Education (CESME) at The University of Tennessee at Martin. During his tenure there he developed the web site for CESME, implemented Internet research projects throughout the state, and served on the training development and implementation team for the statewide implementation of Internet in all the schools of Tennessee. Working with the Appalachia Education Laboratory, he developed and implemented a four-state educational technology training program and collaborated on numerous grant requests to fund innovative projects.

Don has extensive background in the development of large scale projects for both higher education and K-12 education. He has been instrumental in obtaining hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding from both federal and state sources to support innovative training programs for all types of educational institutions. Don is a frequent presenter at conferences and has written numerous articles on a variety of topics related to education. He has won numerous awards and honors for his work.

He has a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma and has done additional study in educational technology and telecommunications applications as well as many other topics.

Debi Sovereign

Debi joined Kellogg Consulting in August, 1999. She has a strong background in all types of technology, technology integration, software development and implementation, networking, and training. She has been working in the technology arena since 1984 when she began working at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Debi has been a Senior Level Manager at two "Big Six" accounting firms--Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Whinney--as well as regional and local accounting firms. She was a member of the adjunct faculty at Cameron University, owned her own consulting company, and has worked with a wide range of businesses, educational institutions and individuals.

Debi graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in accounting from Louisiana State University in 1983. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Oklahoma.
